The company was bought out in 1998 and under new ownership has had substantial additional investment in capacity and ancillary processes. The company is located in Heanor, Derbyshire and is well connected to the motorway network for logistics purposes.
Pre-vulcanised liquid latex from Malaysia and Thailand is bought in, mixed in to batches and then run in a process similar to extrusion. Sheeting from 0.15mm to 3mm is available in widths up to 4 meter wide.
For many years Four D has been the leading supplier of latex sheeting to the fashion and fetish clothes makers worldwide. Our range of Supatex sheeting is known worldwide and to this range of colours we have since added a range of Vibrant colours and a range of Pearlsheen colours, the latter of which gives a metallic-look finish to the material.
Resistive exercise bands & tubes for physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports therapy and training available in a wide range of resistive strengths and colours. 4D manufactures "own label" exercise bands for the world market.
Four D Rubber manufactures and supplies Sigmadam� and Isodam� dental dams widely employed in endodontic and general dental interventions, and has recently become the leading European supplier of these products. Four D also manufactures a bespoke range of branded dams for other customers.
Sigmadam� is made from natural latex whilst Isodam� is latex free.
