UCS Plant Limited is part of Rand Group and operates out of purpose built headquarters at Rand in Lincolnshire. All our activities are underpinned by the group values, which play a fundamental part in their successful delivery.
Over the past 30 years UCS Plant Ltd has since grown in size and now owns over 2000 items of plant from power saws to 35 tonne excavators with a combined value in excess of £5m. We also have a fleet of cars, vans and HGV's.
UCS Plant Ltd employs 25 people including skilled plant fitters, vehicle mechanics, HGV fitters, fabrication welders, HGV drivers and stores personnel. The majority of the staff employed by UCS Plant Ltd have been with the company for over 10 years and many for much longer.
We have an apprentice training scheme with a constant throughput of young people.
UCS Plant Ltd holds a comprehensive range of construction plant and equipment. The large plant fleet of 250 items includes:-
20 No. 180° excavators
28 No. 360° excavators from 3 to 35 ton
4 No. pavers
27 No. dumpers and dump trucks from 5 to 30 ton
5 No. tracked loaders and dozers
17 No. fork lifts up to 15m
The small plant fleet of 200 items consists of rollers and compaction equipment, compressors, generators, bowsers, pumps, mixers and concreting equipment. We also have a vehicle fleet of 8 HGV's, including a hiab truck and a lowloader, for plant and material movement to and from sites, along with 100 vans up to a 3.5T capacity and 70 cars.
