There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our Northern Home Counties Division is looking to recruit an Assistant Engineer to join the Division’s Technical team.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

The Role&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
The role of Assistant Engineer will be responsible for providing assistance to the Engineer/Senior Engineering team in the management of a number of developments and will be expected to support with the preparation of all relevant engineering information to a high degree of accuracy and to deliver on time.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Principle accountabilities of the role include:&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Work alongside senior team members to gain relevant experience in day-to-day duties&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Provide engineering and technical support to the technical department&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist in the control and co-ordination of all engineering information between external consultants and internal departments&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist with acquiring existing services plans&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist in the procurement of proposed services to serve new development sites&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist in the production of site constraints plans&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist in issuing drawings to both internal and external parties&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Experience, Qualifications and Skills&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Experience&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Experience of working with AutoCAD is desirable&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Qualifications and Training&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Qualification in a Construction / Engineering subject with relevant experience, or be working towards achieving a relevant accreditation&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
CSCS card or equivalent&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Current full UK driving licence&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

There is an exciting opportunity to join Bellway, one of the UK’s largest house builders. Our West Midlands Division is looking to recruit a Trainee Assistant Site Manager to join the Division’s Construction team.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

This is a two year programme and from the start you will work on real projects at a live site gaining practical experience to undertake a series of vocational qualifications required for the role. It is combined with four residential one-week block periods of tuition per year at an industry leading college for your formal academic tuition: a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment. You will attend your block weeks with other Bellway Trainees from divisions throughout the business and participate in additional group workshops to build your managerial skills.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

You will also work towards a practical NVQ L3 qualification which is a site based assessment of your practical skills putting into practice what you have learned.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

The Role&lt;br /&gt;&#13;

The role of Trainee Assistant Site Manager, reports to the Site Manager and Construction Manager and assists with the responsibility for managing all aspects of a construction development site, ensuring the provision of safe, efficient and cost effective works at all times, while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service are delivered within the given timescales.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Principal accountabilities of the role include:&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist with ensuring that Group/Regional Health &amp; Safety procedures are strictly adhered to.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist with delivery of all aspects of production requirements in strict accordance with relevant technical and planning documentation provided and any subsequent instructions that may be necessary from time to time. To conform fully to building regulations and warranty providers’ requirements (NHBC, LABC Services).&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Ensure that anything which is likely to affect the Company’s performance is notified to the Site Manager, Construction Manager and Construction Director or Regional Construction Manager immediately.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist the Site Manager to ensure all Health &amp; Safety, Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist with ensuring that practical completions are formulated with sales requirements to ensure mutual compatibility.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Assist with ensuring site security and good practice is maintained at all times.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Build in accordance with relevant standards, Codes of Practice, Building Regulations and warranty requirements in force at the time.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Fully co-operate with the Company’s Customer Care Policy.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
Ensure all site administration is carried out in accordance with divisional Head Office requirements.&lt;br /&gt;&#13;
