They are currently looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Administrator who will be working on an exciting mixed development project in the prestigious Corniche area of Cairo in Egypt comprising of Twin Towers, hotel, retail, private and serviced apartments.

To be considered for this exciting role you must have -

-           A minimum of 4-5 years experience in a similar Quantity Surveyor role within the construction contractor sector

-           Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as quantity or building surveying or a construction-related subject.

-           Proven experience of subcontract document compilation and administration of subcontract deliverables

-           Working knowledge of FIDIC form of contracts

You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, and strong client facing skills. You will ideally have exposure to high rise construction projects and previous MENA work experience but this is by no means essential.

Our client a West London Main contractor requires an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

They undertake all types of construction works including Build, Refurbishment and Conversion/Alterations. Predominantly their area of business is local authority (Education, Health, and Housing) as well as operating in Commercial.

Their projects are within London and The Home Counties.

You will be required to oversee their commercial activities on site including, valuations, variations, CVR'S, subcontract payment etc.

You are a Quantity Surveyor/Project Surveyor from a main contracting background where you have ideally gained D&B experience. You have had worked at a reputable medium-large main contractor for several years and have a stable employment path, you are not a job hopper and you are looking for an opportunity to be rewarded for your hard work and valuable experience.

This is a permanent position and will be paying a market rate package, in the region of £50,000 - £60,000 basic plus full company benefits, all dependant on relevant experience.

  • Stocktaking and purchasing of stationery, kitchen supplies and PPE gear via our current suppliers, ensuring that the office is well maintained and stocked for staff
  • Responsible for scanning all documentation received from Candidate Registrations
  • Solely in charge of organising CSCS tests, including payments, computer set ups and submitting application forms to the governing body

Requirements:

  • At least 1.5 years experience in a Reception/Administration role
