My client is a leading construction Main Contractor in the UK. They under take work across many aspects of the construction industry including highways, rail and civils. They currently seek a project administrator for a project in West London.
For this role, you will be an experienced Administrator and MUST have experience working for a construction company with a strong knowledge of the construction industry.
The job is around 30 hours per week and can be fairly flexible with regards to start/finish times. Ideally you will grow with the role and become an asset to the team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
*Managing the material purchases and procurement
*Keeping record of deliveries received and making this information available
*Dealing with hiring and off hiring plant, keeping records accordingly
*Inputting of data (fuel used, deliveries received, hours worked etc)
*Assist the site team in scanning and uploading site records
*General administration tasks to assist the team
To be successful in this role you:
*Have strong IT skills
*Can quickly learn new software packages
*Construction industry experience is essential
*Competent at using MS Office suite
*Be able to work on your own initiative and think for yourself
*You will be flexible in your approach and welcome new tasks and challenges
*You have worked in a similar role
