Our client is a firm of construction / property consultants working with a good range of interesting clients for construction projects worldwide. They now have a need for a Marketing / Business Development Coordinator / P.A. to join their office in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. 90% of the role will be marketing which will entail helping the technical team to develop and nurture client relationships; broker and arrange key meetings for clients, co-ordinate and attend external functions where our client may be host, act as communications and liaison conduit between regional Business Development Managers to assist in the delivery of the national business development strategy, assisting with the tracking and co-ordination of the business development activity acting as the units representative, assist with the management of the marketing budget to ensure best value is achieved, and 10% of the role is as a P.A. to provide administrative support to the regional Partners. You should have good GCSE's in English and Maths at A-C, exception IT skills in MS Office to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint and data tracking packages e.g. database and / or online tracking systems, be well spoken with excellent communication skills, have at least five years experience in a similar role incorporating both administration / PA and marketing / business development coordination, be able to deal with information to produce reports. Ideally you may also be Degree or Diploma qualified in Marketing and possibly have previous experience of working in the property or construction industries.
