This vital support role will require you to work closely with our recruitment teams, ensuring the company remains compliant with legislative, regulatory and business process requirements. Main Duties and responsibilities:
*Maintenance of Rail Database records and contractor competencies
*Organisation and administration of training courses and competence assessment arrangements in line with company and industry standard requirements.
*Organisation of competence related medical assessments and health surveillance in accordance with company and industry standard requirements.
*Act as Sentinel coordinator ensuring compliance with relevant and current Sentinel rules.
*Liaise with sponsors and sub-sponsors
*Assisting in RISQS audits when required
*Complete any additional ad hoc duties to assist in the smooth running of the department
Skills, qualifications and experience required:
*Previous experience in a similar role within the rail industry preferred but not essential.
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential for this role
*.Excellent communication, literacy skills
*IT literate with very good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Flexible/proactive - can do attitude who shows initiative to support others.
