The unit, mounted on a Mercedes Arcos chassis was recently displayed by Putzmeister at The UK Concrete Show in February and is now in service.
The Putzmeister M42-5 has a flexible five-section boom with Roll-Z-folding and no boom overhang. It can pump up to 160 m³ of concrete an hour.
It has radio remote control, allowing the operator to open the boom and place concrete inside low headroom buildings, making it suitable for large floor slabs.
