A-Plant Accommodation specialises in the hire of cabins for single site huts up to a complete contractors’ village. It has more than 16,000 units in its fleet.

A-Plant’s director of accommodation, Ian Needham, said: “We are delighted with this agreement; their fleet complements our existing products perfectly, combined with our extended range and national coverage we’re able to offer a first-rate portable accommodation service to NG Bailey.”

NG Bailey’s offsite manufacture general manager, Graham Cleland, added: “We are delighted to partner with A-Plant Accommodation, who impressed us with their customer focused ethos and their ability to meet our stringent health and safety requirements. In addition, the extensive product range offered, dedicated national service centre network and expertise meant that A-Plant was a natural fit, and I am confident they will help support us and our customers on engineering and construction projects across the UK.”

A-Plant did an identical deal with McCarthy & Stone in December 2015. As with that deal, once again neither A-Plant nor the vendor disclosed the number of units involved in the deal, nor the price paid.
