The Stapleton House project includes three main buildings on Holloway Road in Islington that will provide 862 new student residences together with commercial space, reception areas, a plant room, common rooms and ancillary space.
Balfour Beatty’s contract includes the demolition of existing university facilities and student lecture rooms, the construction of an internal landscaped courtyard, amenity space and public realm works.
It is Balfour Beatty’s 23rd project for Unite Students over the past 14 years.
Construction starts this month (September 2014) with completion expected in July 2016.
