Wimpenny will take on the role on 1 September. He has 29 years’ service with the company and has been regional director of BAM Construction in the North East of England since 2006.
John Burke will be retiring from the position of executive director of BAM Construct UK and managing director of BAM Properties on 30 September.
With effect from 1 October the management of BAM Construct UK will consist of Graham Cash, chairman, Richard Bailey and James Wimpenny.
