The project involves two sections of the development and includes the design and build of 352 homes for University and College key workers as well as facilities including a supermarket, retail units, a doctors’ surgery and the shell of the energy centre.
The scheme will be built to designs by Wilkinson Eyre, Mole Architects and Mecanoo.
BAM Construct UK recently completed a new University Technical College on the campus.
