Bouygues seeks subbies for £200m scheme

23 Mar 15 Catalyst Housing and Bouygues UK are seeking subcontractors from the Ealing area of West London for £200m-worth of building work.

Electricians, plumbers, joiners and plasterers are being sought to work on the Havelock Estate regeneration project.

An open meeting has been organised by Constructionline for trade contractors in the area to meet representatives from Catalyst Housing and Bouygues as well as Ealing Council and find out more about the work involved and how to get a slice of it.

The event is free to attend at takes place on the morning of Wednesday 25th March at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College’s Southall campus on Beaconsfield Road.

Vicky Chamlet, client relationship manager at Constructionline, said: “This is such a huge project and the event will provide a great opportunity for small contracting firms to help them learn about winning work on the delivery of the new houses. It can be hard to access these types of frameworks so we encourage all Ealing-based contractors to come along to the event to find out about the work on offer.”

Bouygues UK regional director Mikel Berrebi added: “We are committed to working with local businesses on this project to ensure that the local economy benefits as much as possible from our plans. This event will allow us to meet with a variety of SMEs so that we can build a reliable supply-chain on the doorstep of the project.”
