Bristol builder staffs up for growth
After doubling its turnover to £9m in the past three years, Bristol-based John Perkins Construction has added to its management team to maintain growth momentum.
Graeme Young has been appointed operations manager and Alex Jenkins is promoted to commercial manager.
Graeme Young’s appointment allows John Perkins Construction to take on bigger projects, with his long experience in project management with such companies as Cowlin Construction and Midas Construction.
Alex Jenkins, previously a contracts quantity surveyor, now has overall responsibility for financial control and profitability at John Perkins Construction.
Managing director Robert Yeandle said: “Our turnover has doubled in just three years and we’re keen to keep growing the company in a smart, sustainable way. This means bringing in new people and promoting from within, in order to make sure we have the resources to deliver big projects while upholding our core values of honesty, openness, integrity and flexibility.”
