The plant was mothballed in late 2012 due to lack of sales in the area.
Matt Yaxley, Readymix cluster manager, expressed his delight at the reopening of Woodbridge "We have done a lot of hard work to get the plant into operation once again. It's great to be back serving the local community with this essential building material and good to see a tangible uplift in the construction market."
On its first day the plant produced 170m3 for a contract in Rendlesham and a further 600m3 have been secured for Felixstowe Docks.
