The latest purchases for the Haydock-based company are six ECR88Ds, two ECR58Ds (both reduced swing machines) and four EC27Cs.

The ECR88Ds have been equipped with ‘city pads’ rather than the standard rubber tracks. “We trialled these on the last batch of ECR88s and saw an immediate advantage with them in terms of resistance to damage and general wear and tear,” said managing director Graham Jones.

“With The ECR88D nudging nearly nine tonnes it can take its toll on conventional rubber tracks and the city pad option really enhances the performance and characteristics of the machine.”
