Trojan General Contracting will mobilise on site immediately for the work on infrastructure, 652 villas and townhouses, a golf course, club house, mosque, shops and community clubs. The start of construction follows the recent completion of an early works package
The main package will be built over a period of 32 months, with the first homes in Yas Acres due to be handed over to purchasers at the end of 2019.
Aldar Properties chief development officer Talal Al Dhiyebi said: "With the mobilisation of the contractors we expect to see highly visible progress as these precincts of villas and townhouses start construction."
