Barking & Dagenham’s education and built environment framework will be used for construction works to schools and other educational premises as well as for other general construction works to a range of public buildings. This includes the managed landscapes between buildings but will not include civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
The framework is divided into three lots, according to the value of the works being procured. Each lot is worth an estimated £200m
Lot 1 is for works valued at between £500,000 and £3.5m. The selected contractors are:
- Amber Construction Services
- The Barnes Group
- Borras Construction
- RG Carter Southern
- Rooff
- T&B Contractors.
Lot 2 is for works valued at between £3.5m and £10m. The selected contractors are:
- The Barnes Group
- Bowmer & Kirkland
- Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure
- Neilcott Construction
- RG Carter Southern
- Willmott Dixon Construction.
Lot 3 is for works valued at more than £10m. The selected contractors are:
- Bowmer & Kirkland
- Farrans Construction
- Galliford Try Building
- Mace
- Neilcott Construction
- Willmott Dixon Construction.
