The client is a partnership between Liverpool City Council and Sigma Inpartnership. So far, the Liverpool Partnership has completed 115 new homes in the Norris Green Village development, with all of the private homes having been sold.

This third phase, now starting, comprises the construction of 63 new three- and four-bedroom homes in Norris Green Village, five miles from Liverpool city centre.  Gross development cost of this phase is £5.8m.

Countryside Properties is working in a new joint venture that it has formed with Sigma Inpartnership.  Countryside Sigma will develop residential sites across the city for the Liverpool Partnership.

Sigma said that the new joint venture complemented its Neptune Inpartnership joint venture, established last year for commercial property development in Liverpool.

The residential development opportunities for Countryside Sigma will arise from Sigma's long-term partnership with Liverpool City Council, Regeneration Liverpool (also referred to as the Liverpool Partnership).

Sigma chief executive Graham Barnet said: "This third phase of development represents further significant momentum in the redevelopment of Norris Green Village and is testament to the renewed confidence in the area that is reflected so positively in the form of new house sales.  We look forward to continuing our relationship with Liverpool City Council and helping to realise the Council's regeneration goal for the area."
