As COO, Patrick Bergin will take on responsibility for day to day operations and negotiating land acquisitions alongside chief executive Stephen Stone.
Stephen Stone has been on the board since 1999 and chief executive since 2005.
Mr Stone said: “Patrick and I have worked together successfully for 10 years. We have delivered on the challenging targets set for Crest Nicholson and its employees since our IPO in 2013 and will continue to work closely together as we target 4,000 homes and revenues of £1.4 bn for 2019.”
Crest Nicholson has started the search for a new chief financial officer but Mr Bergin will multi-task in the meantime.
