CSM Sales is the sales division of Inverness-based Campbell Plant Hire and is headed by managing director Calum Shaw, previously of the Morris Leslie Group and Balgownie.

CSM Sales will be responsible for the sales and after-market support for the full range of Volvo utility equipment covering Perthshire, Aberdeenshire, Fife, Forfarshire, Highlands and Western Isles

In its initial start-up phase, CSM Sales will use Volvo CE’s support centre in Stirling for service support. Parts support comes from Volvo’s existing parts dealer for the north of Scotland and CSM’s parent company Campbell Plant Hire.

Volvo sales & marketing director David Munns said: “Calum has ambitious plans for his new venture based on offering quality products with a first class after sales support. We will be working hard together to ensure that we maintain and enhance our position as a leading supplier in this extremely important area.”

With the appointment of CS Machinery Sales, Volvo’s Charlie Flaws has a new role. Having been selling utility equipment directly across the whole of Scotland for the past 16 years, he now becomes dealer development manager for Scotland and the north of England. He is looking for suitable dealers to handle Volvo utility equipment for Scotland’s central belt and borders areas.
