Dawnus picked for Cardiff Bay link road

23 Jan 15 Dawnus Construction has landed a £27.3m contract to build the Cardiff Eastern Bay link road for the Welsh government.

This project sees the construction of a dual carriageway that will improve access to Cardiff Bay and the Cardiff Central Enterprise Zone from the M4 motorway to the east of Cardiff.

The proposed works involve the provision of a dual carriageway between Queens Gate roundabout to the Ocean Way roundabout to the east. The alignment requires a high skew bridge to accommodate rail and road infrastructure in the area.

Dawnus’s price was bang in the middle of the client’s estimate of £25m to £30m.
