18 May 16 Decorean has won a contract for a £27m development to convert a business park to residential use.

In one of the UK's largest office to residential developments in a business park to date, Decorean will adapt the 84,000 sq ft Bartley Wood Business Park in Hook, Hampshire into 107 one- and two-bedroom apartments set over three floors.

The construction is expected to be completed in winter 2017.

Previous business occupants of the park included Virgin Media and BMW.

Shraga Stern, managing director of Decorean, said: “We are committed to creating high quality, affordable housing and proud of this development.”

Decorean was established in 2010 in London and has more than 70 live sites across the country with an additional 40 sites in its pipeline. It recently hired Berkeley Homes site manager George Akpan as senior project manager.
