Demolition Expo is organised by the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC) and Institute of Demolition Engineers (IDE). It was first held in 2013. The second event takes place on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June at the premises of J Mould (Reading), Reading Quarry, Berry Lane, Burghfield.
There will be both static displays and working demonstrations from various suppliers of plant and machinery. The National Demolition Training Group will have various cutting and burning activities along with excavator operator competitions, while Volvo GB will be offering rides in an articulated dump truck.
On Friday there will be meetings and seminars for NFDC and IDE members to gain CPD points, while Saturday has been geared to families with children’s entertainers and bouncy castles.
