Design and build contract awarded for Singapore viaducts

The scope includes two viaducts, including related aspects such as approach structures,  and drainage. The viaducts are required to provide access for new key infrastructure such a waste management facility and a water reclamation plant.

The project also requires McConnell Dowell to carry out design and construction of drainage, road widening and re-grading works at four locations along with required ground improvements and the installation of 3m-high visual and noise barriers.

The two-year project is due for completion in 2018.
