Developer wanted for Stratford campus

The University of East London is seeking a developer to build new facilities at its Stratford campus.

The estimated contract value is in the range of £25m to £35m. However, the university is looking to a land swap deal with a developer who will deliver the building at minimal or no cost in return for commercial exploitation of release land.

The university wants to replace a temporary building (R Building) with new built space of at least 4,500 square metres. The developer would use land provided by the university to generate sufficient commercial return to satisfy both its own and the university's needs.
