EC Harris extends Lloyds Bank role

29 Jan 15 Arcadis subsidiary EC Harris has won an eight-year contract to manage design and construction of all capital projects for Lloyds Banking Group.

The contract has been awarded to EC Harris under the bank’s capital delivery framework.

EC Harris will also take on additional services including investment planning, design, supply chain management and engineering services.  As part of a transfer of services, 24 in-house roles will transfer from Lloyds to EC Harris.

EC Harris has been working with Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) within the property team’s design and construction function since 2005, and for the past two years has been its professional services provider.

EC Harris partner Kevin Chrisp said: “We have enjoyed working with Lloyds for a number of years now, and are excited to take on this additional work.  The delivery of several major projects has caused business demand to fluctuate along with the ongoing pipeline of major works and new buildings in the group’s property function.   We believe that there is an opportunity to improve the efficiency and quality of service that LBG’s design and construction function can give to their customers and look forward to putting this into practice.
