The contract runs to the end of 2015, but the contract value was not disclosed.
Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing technical consultancy, engineering and design services spanning civil, structural, mechanical, electrical control and instrumentation, process, safety, and environmental disciplines for a range of projects across EDF Energy’s nuclear power station portfolio in the UK, including Hinkley Point and Sizewell.
Jacobs Group vice president Conor Doyle said: “As a member of EDF Energy Nuclear Generation’s project delivery alliance, Jacobs has developed a strong working knowledge of EDF Energy’s nuclear power stations in the UK.
