Eurovia acquires demolition specialist

Prestosid has been established for 50 years and operates from bases in Raismes and Cavaillon.It employs 500 people and generated nearly €100m (£85m) in revenue in 2016.

The acquisition is intended to bolster Eurovia's demolition and asbestos-removal services, which are currently provided by Cardem and Columbo. The existing companies specialise in mechanical and blasting demolition techniques, deconstruction and industrial dismantling services, asbestos removal, recycling and the reuse of materials and waste products.
