Eve adds bridging to inventory

Temporary track specialist Eve has invested in new modular all-terrain trench crossings.

The specially engineered bridges are constructed from galvanised steel and are designed to withstand loads up to 80 tonnes. They have been designed to Eurocode Load Model 3 and are supplied with their design certificate.

Carl Rumney, head of product integration at Eve, said: “The new trench crossings are really versatile. They come in four- and six-metre spans and can be adapted to different widths in increments of two metres as the sections easily connect together via the base plates. We can offer customers an expert installation service, although the system is that simple to use it can be easily installed by themselves.”

A-Plant acquired Eve Trakway for an initial £28m in 2013. Now called just Eve, it is part of A-Plant’s Specialist Products division, which also includes A-Plant Accommodation, PSS Hire, FLG Services, GB Access and Leada Acrow.
