Blanc de Bierges produces stone furniture for landscaping and architectural applications.
Evans Concrete’s Chris McBride has been named general manager for the Blanc de Bierges brand. He said: “Traditionally we’ve specialised in providing bespoke pre-cast concrete solutions for projects ranging from commercial and residential new builds, to large-scale public art. But we’ve known for a while now that we have the in-house expertise and capabilities to successfully diversify into hard landscaping and the cast stone sector. Blanc de Bierges has a really strong reputation and a leading market position, so it’s the perfect platform from which to launch our brand new urban furniture range.”
Ian Howell, the previous owner of Blanc de Bierges, is employed by Evans as the brand’s national sales manager. He said: “We’ve worked together to produce some really exciting and unique urban furniture creations including benches, seating, bins and bollards, which bring together our two areas of expertise.”
