Jurado graduated in civil engineering from the Technical University of Madrid in 1987 and obtained an MBA from IESE. He joined FCC’s construction operations in 1988 and has been general manager of FCC Construction since March 2013. He will report directly to Juan Béjar, FCC’s vice chairman and CEO.
Jurado replaces Fernando Moreno, who is retiring after 28 years at FCC.
The board also approved the appointment of Vicente Mohedano Martín as general manager of FCC Construction, reporting to the division chair. He has been manager of Latin America and Algeria at FCC Construction since June 2013.
