Fifteen new Cats for Danaher & Walsh

5 Mar 14 Leicester based civil engineering and plant hire firm Danaher & Walsh has invested £1.3m in 15 new Caterpillar excavators.

The company has taken 10 Cat 312E machines and five 320Es.

Managing Director Dan Danaher said: “We are looking to continue the growth of our plant hire business and, by expanding our plant fleet, we are able to serve more customers’ needs.

“The new machines’ environmentally-friendly technology will significantly help towards our target of overall carbon reduction over the next few years. Our existing Caterpillar fleet has always been popular with both our customers and our own plant operators. The new machines have been very well received so far.”
