Fork Rent/One Call invests in Roto telehandlers

25 Nov 15 Recently merged plant hire companies Fork Rent and One Call have added 10 new Manitou rotational telehandlers to their fleet at a cost of £1.1m.

The company says it strengthens its position as having the largest and youngest telehandler fleet in the UK.

The new machines to arrive include the 21-metre lift height Manitou MRT 2150 Privilege Plus, the 25-metre MRT 2540 Privilege Plus and the 32-metre MRT3255 Privilege Plus. All are Roto models, with full 360 degree rotation.

Control of Fork Rent and One Call Hire was acquired on 21st August 2015 by former Speedy chief executive Steve Corcoran with backing from private equity firms. [See previous report here.]
