Fosroc has launched Dekguard CP a weather resistant, clear coating for concrete, replacing Fosroc’s Dekguard Clear product.

This new product has all the features of Dekguard Clear, but with the advantage of being water based, making it more environmentally friendly. It has also been tested to EN 1504-2 and CE marked.

Dekguard CP is a single component, ready for use product which acts as an excellent barrier against carbon dioxide and provides long-term protection against chloride ions and other aggressive chemicals. At the same time as being weatherproof and durable in all climatic conditions, it allows water vapour to escape from the structure.

Equally suitable for both new and existing structures, Dekguard CP has a wide range of uses from multi-storey car parks, office buildings, industrial buildings, to tunnels and bridges. It is also a component of Fosroc’s Renderoc system of concrete reinstatement.
