Mobile Mini’s annual income for 2016 grew 3.8% to reach £59.8m. The record revenue is being credited in part to the £7.9m that the company invested in growing its UK hire fleet of steel storage containers, portable offices, canteens and toilets, which now stands at almost 40,000 units, across 16 UK branches.

Much of the investment was in more Groundhog GP360 Fusion mobile welfare units, while £3.7m was also invested in new delivery vehicles, with 15 trucks being replaced and an additional eight trucks added to the fleet. Mobile Mini now has a fleet of 50 lorries fitted with loader cranes.

Managing director Chris Morgan said: “2016 has been another successful year in terms of growth, with continued investment in our people, products and equipment. Expansion across the country means we're confident we will always have the right products on offer for our customers when they need them.

“As we move through the next 12 months, we're determined to maintain our market leading position by continuing to invest in growing and refurbishing our fleet, as well as the talented team at the company.”
