Harringtons develops Volvo fleet
Harringtons Builders of Wembley, Middlesex, is building up a fleet of Volvo excavators with its latest purchase being a 14-tonne EC140E.
The new arrival joins five other EC140D models and two EC220Ds that are all less than three years old, as well as another EC140E purchased in 2016.
“We used to run the B and C versions going back 10 years or so and found them to be very reliable and liked by our operators,” said managing director Tony Harrington.
“The latest machines are equally impressive too and are still appreciated by our operators in terms of driver comfort and smooth operation besides their digging and lifting performance.”
The company was originally founded by Cornelius Francis Harrington in 1966 as CF Harrington (Builders) Ltd, changing its name in 2001 to Harringtons Builders plc.
