Hawk orders 60 Komatsu excavators

Shropshire-based plant hire group Hawk has placed an order for 60 Komatsu excavators.

The order for the new machines from 3 tonne up to 14tonnes has been placed with distributor Marubeni Komatsu. It is part of the renewal and expansion program for Hawk’s light plant division.

Models ordered are PC138, PC118,PC88, PC55 and PC35.

Hawk has also recently added 20 new Caterpillar TH414 telehandlers (see photo below).

Chairman Mike Hawkins said: “We are making a major investment in equipment to ensure our customers are getting the latest technology with advantages of lower emissions, reduced fuel consumption and greater efficiency.”
