Hawk rejuvenates fleet with Komatsu order

Plant hire firm Hawk has taken delivery of a fleet of more than 135 new machines from Komatsu.

The new machines include 30 Komatsu PC360 excavators, 25 of the HM300-5 dump trucks and 33 dozers, including the D37PX-24 model.

Hawk said that the order, part of its regular fleet renewal process, included the latest intelligent machines and hybrid excavators.

Chief executive Mike Hawkins said “By focusing on building and maintaining a modern fleet and offering our customers’ the latest in technology, we have created a solid customer base and opportunities to scale-up even further. This investment is part of an on-going scheme to provide our clients with the best possible equipment available and insure Hawk is one of the leading independent plant hire companies in the UK.”
