Mike Hedges joins Beard as Bristol construction director from Wates Construction where he was construction manager for the southwest. He takes charge of strategic direction and regional development of Beard’s Bristol operations.
“With a talented construction team working with me, my aim is to provide the best possible service to our existing clients and new customers, while developing Beard’s construction activities in Bristol and the region,” he said.
Beard, which also has offices in Swindon, Oxford and Guildford, opened its Bristol office in summer 2015.
Chief executive Mark Beard said: “I am delighted to have someone of Mike’s calibre and experience leading our Bristol operations in a new phase of regional growth for the company. Mike knows the regional market extremely well and I’m confident that he will be a valuable addition to our senior management team.”
