Interlift currently has three locations – in Middlesbrough, Hull and Glasgow. It is now opening in at Hewden sites in Grangemouth, Newcastle, Immingham, Leeds, Bedford and Wokingham.
Interlift provides a range of lifting products and accessories such as hoists, lifting straps, shackles, beam and plate clamps, height safety and man riding equipment.
“In layman terms, Interlift’s business is really about what happens under the hook,” said operations director Kevin Chalmers. "It’s no secret that Hewden has invested significantly on its cranes and lifting business this year, including an £11.5m order for Tadano Cranes. Our range of products support and compliment that investment perfectly.
“Since the acquisition, we’ve seen unprecedented interest in Interlift products. While in theory we could transport equipment anywhere, by expanding across the Hewden network we’re in a much stronger position to quickly and effectively service our customers’ lifting requirements."
