Hill wins project manager role for Azerbaijan skyscraper

6 Oct 15 Hill International has won a contract for project management consulting services during construction for what will be the tallest building in Azerbaijan.

Azvil Tikinti MMC is client for the work on the 50-storey Baku Tower in Baku. The contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately US$3.7m (£2.4m).

Hill's scope of work includes consulting services for construction management, establishment of project procedures, project scheduling, quality control and technical supervision for all structural works.

"Baku Tower will be an impressive addition to the Baku skyline, accenting the already iconic Flame Towers," said John Arnold, senior vice president and managing director (Europe) for Hill's Project Management Group.
