The work on the Nippert Stadium’s West Pavilion is scheduled for completion in August of 2015.
“This is one of the oldest division-one football stadiums in the country and until now they haven’t had premium seating,” said Bob Grace, the Turner project executive on the job. “In addition to providing enhanced fan comfort, those seats will provide an additional source of revenue for the university.” For Grace and his team, the university is more than just a client. “Every member of the Turner team here, including me, is a University of Cincinnati graduate,” he said. “Everyone’s a Bearcat.”
The project will provide enhanced field lighting, added club areas, patio boxes and private suites for a total of 3,000 added seats as well as enlarged and upgraded facilities.
