Hope seeks contractors for approved network

17 Jul 13 Hope Construction Materials, the company formed from the bits that Lafarge and Tarmac were not allowed to keep when they merged their UK operations, is looking for firms to join its network of approved contractors.

Hope has created the HOPEFlow brand for its high-performance self-compacting concretes and flowing screeds. It is creating a network of HOPEFlow approved contractors equipped with the skills and know-how to install the product.

“Anyone can use the product, and the concretes themselves are easy to use,” a spokesman explained. “However, they are different from conventional concretes and an approved contractor gives a client extra confidence of a job well done. They have the installation know-how and already understand the products. This is especially the case for the HOPEFlow Gypscreed product which is a free-flowing anhydrite-based floor screed.”

One of the first contractors to use HOPEFlow was Co-Dunkall, whose, business development manager Karl Lawes said: “Using HOPEFlow you can generally get a new build plot of 150m2 poured and finished within three hours, giving the customer the surface finish that they require. The service and technical support we receive from hope is first class and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending any of their products to our customers.”

So far, Hope has signed up half a dozen approved contractors and would like to hear from other screeders/concrete flooring companies interested in participating in the training to get approved. Anyone interested should email enquiries@hopeconstructionmaterials.com.
