Jérôme Furgé is transferring from Bouygues’ domestic operations in France to run the company’s Align joint venture.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to bring the world’s most up-to-date high speed rail technology and project methodology to the UK,” he said.
Align, a joint venture of Bouygues Travaux Publics, Sir Robert McAlpine, and VolkerFitzpatrick, is shortlisted for the HS2 enabling works packages.
Jérôme Furgé has been with Bouygues TP for 21 years. For the last five years, he has been engineering department director at Bouygues TP and worked on the recently-completed Nimes-Montpellier Bypass high speed rail project.
