The team from CH2M/Atkins/Sener team will be integrated within HS2 Ltd to provide engineering and construction management support as well as assisting with preparation for the procurement of the main civils contracts for the London to Birmingham stage of the route.
CH2M and Atkins were involved in the Crossrail project while Sener brings experience from Spain’s high speed rail network.
The 10-year contract, worth up to £350m, covers the whole of phase one construction and includes helping with procurement, managing support of the design stage and construction stages of the works, providing project engineering and construction management, and providing technical assurance of design.
