The owners of Croxley Park, in conjunction with development manager Bell Hammer, have contracted ISG to build a 65,000 sq ft speculative development.

The new concrete frame building incorporates extensive curtain walling and a copper canopy feature entrance, with a full height glazed atrium on the first and second floors, which opens up at ground floor level. The Grade-A open plan office accommodation has been designed to achieve BREEAM ‘Very Good’ environmental performance standards.

Croxley Park comprises 75 acres in single ownership and is home to more than 60 companies and 2,500 employees.

ISG’s recent experience in this sector includes The Bower, a £24m scheme at Stockley Park near Heathrow, and two further developments with a combined value of £17m at 450 and 400 South Oak Way in Reading.

ISG divisional director Graeme White said: “With government backing now secured for a third runway at Heathrow, it’s clear that there will be increasing office construction, refurbishment and fit-out opportunities in the region moving forward.

“By laying the foundations for a strong and sustainable business in the area and beyond, we are well placed to secure an increasing share of these new opportunities, such as this exciting new development at Croxley Park. ISG has forged excellent client and supply chain relationships and our robust delivery track record has helped us win new clients, like Croxley Park and Bell Hammer, as well as making us a preferred partner with our existing client base.”
