John Brash secures BBA Certification for roofing battens
John Brash has secured BBA Certification for its JB-RED roofing batten.
JB-RED is John Brash’s premier roofing batten, machine graded to meet the performance requirements of BS5534. JB-RED removes the need for costly and unreliable on-site visual grading.
Christian Brash, chairman at John Brash, explains: “We wanted our premier roofing battens to boast third party accreditation, and so we chose one of the most recognised, demanding and widely recognised schemes within the construction industry – BBA Certification.
“An Agrément Certificate is only awarded to a construction product or system after it has successfully passed a comprehensive assessment involving laboratory testing, on-site evaluations and inspections of production. Manufacturers are also audited ensuring that a suitable quality management system is in place.”
