The three-storey development on Holloway Road in Stockwood will be built on the site of the disused Bowmead Residential Care Home, which is set to be demolished in January 2017. Keepmoat will then start construction in February.

The client is Bristol Charities & Orchard Housing Society

The new development will include 60 apartments: a mix of one- and two-bedroom wheelchair accessible flats for rent. Residents will also have communal facilities including a lounge, dining area, salon, hobby room, garden and onsite care services.

Keepmoat regional director Edward Rees said: “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Bristol Charities to create these much-needed new homes. This is a significant win for Keepmoat, and one that reinforces our commitment to the southwest and our substantial growth plans for the region over the next few years.”
