Kimberly adds 69 Genie booms

Top five powered access hire firm Kimberly Access has placed an order for 69 new Terex Genie boom lifts.

The multi-million pound order covers working heights from 14m (45ft) to 43m (141ft) and represents the largest order for equipment ever made by the Kimberly Group.

Chairman Ray Ledger said: “This substantial investment in new equipment is based on a deep understanding of our market place. This order is an integral part of our growth strategy.”

The new machines will be spread across the company’s network of depots including Wigan, Durham, Pontefract, Stoke and Durham, as well as at subsidiary companies 1st Access Rentals in Motherwell and High Level Platforms in Poole.
